Where Did This Food Come From? REAL food is what helps us stay healthy.  Help your child learn more about where REAL food comes from with a fun Farm-to-Table game.  As you're sitting around the dinner table, the first person says a farm-related word such as "cow".  Go around the table with each person saying a word connected to the previous one, until you finally reach the word table.  For example:  cow, farmer, milk, cheese, store, refrigerator, lunchbox, table. 

Try to connect as many words as you can before you reach the final destination of the table.  Then go back and fill in some steps. i.e. add grass before cow and bucket before milk, etc. Help your child learn about all the people, equipment, and places involved in getting REAL food from farm to table.  Even big kids love this game!
